Ziegler's Algae Discs

Spirulina algae discs are an excellent starter feed for tilapia fry and are recommended for fingerlings up to 2 inches. Begin by dropping one disc per 100 fry into the tank twice daily, monitor water quality, and adjust the amount as needed. When fry reach about 1 inch, begin weaning by gradually introducing AquaMax 300 and reducing the number of discs until fish reach 2 inches.

Quantity guide: 4 ounces will feed 100 fry to 1 inch or supplement 100 one‑inch fingerlings to 2 inches when used with AquaMax 300. Use 6 ounces for 100 fish between ¾ and 1 inch, and 8 ounces if starting from newly hatched fry. Discs are concentrated, so a small amount goes a long way.
